The number of swimming pools only increases, and so does our customer base! Arizona has more pools per capita than anywhere else in the country. Whether homeowners are taking care of their own pools or relying on a pool service company, they still need a local business they can trust year after year. That’s why our stores average more than $2M3 in annual sales.
We have so much faith in our business model that we front as much as 80% of the startup costs for our new franchisees. We only ask that potential candidates have access to $150k in liquid assets. This initial $150k is applied to your store’s working capital and inventory which is sold at profit.
We know that not everyone is a pool expert—that’s why we’re in business. We also don’t expect all our candidates to start off being pool experts. Each owner and their staff are brought to a four-week Pool School where they learn the ins and outs of the products and services Pinch a Penny has to offer. The instructors of this class have a combined 40 years of experience working in our stores and have trained hundreds of new owners from a variety of backgrounds.
